For your team members, the whole process will take about 5–6 weeks. There are two team workshops you will be facilitating with your team towards the end of that time frame, which are each 90 minutes to 2 hours long. In the weeks leading up to the first workshop, team members will need to take their assessment, read their personalized report, watch a debrief video customized to them, and then get feedback from those who know them well to confirm insights.  Roughly, your team should plan for about 30 minutes to 1 hour each week to follow along with the Leadership E.D.G.E. program on the membership site to get them ready for the workshops.

Absolutely! We will provide a facilitation guide for you with agendas, key objectives and the questions you will be asking the team to engage in the conversation. You'll receive all the worksheets and video content you need to follow along and make this experience simple and turn-key. We also have an opportunity for you to have 1:1 coaching with Susan before each workshop to set you up for success, as well as a third session after your workshops to discuss next steps.

We find that more than 10 people in a workshop precludes the intimacy required to have a candid discussion, where people can share openly and feel safe to be vulnerable. If you have more than 10 team members, we suggest you break your team up into 2 or 3 sub-teams to have them go through the process in smaller cohorts. If you need to do this, please contact us so we can facilitate that process and discuss the additional fee for an increased number of reports.

Have you ever noticed that leaders lead in different ways? There are actually 9 different styles of leadership, leveraging the Enneagram model. Each style is connected to the other styles within the model itself and provides a customized developmental road map based on your type. And when we say leadership, we mean that anyone can be a leader in their role. Being a leader doesn’t mean that you have to be managing someone else, so understanding your leadership style is as relevant to the frontline working as it is to the CEO. The Enneagram is a tool you can use to build deeper levels of trust and connectivity or improve collaboration with your team.

The Enneagram is a much deeper tool than any of the other assessments that it’s frequently compared to and distinct in at least 3 ways:

1) Unlike many other “personality” assessments like MBTI and DISC, the Enneagram isn’t focused on behavior but motivation. Other tools tend to be able to predict behavior or “what you do.” The Enneagram answers a different question: “Why would you do that?” When you know what motivates someone, you can more easily tie the mission of the team to their underlying motivation for deeper engagement.

2) This is not just about who you are — it’s about where you are growing. The Enneagram diagram itself can serve as an insightful growth map by providing customized and meaningful paths of development for each leadership style.

3) The Enneagram is particularly powerful in a team setting. Archetypes are far more easily remembered than other tools for team discussion and building empathy with your colleagues. Additionally, it builds connectivity within the team, because you learn that your specific growth path is tied to other types that are likely on the team. This work turns team conflict into connectivity when you realize the person that most triggers you is the person you need to learn the most from, and vice versa.
